Mendonça do Rio began his career at 80's, presenting in Pelourinho, at Salvador - Bahia.

He had his musics recorded by renowned artists in the entire world, like Olodum, Margareth Menezes, Daniela Mercury and Caetano Veloso.

The first hit "Magalenha", that got remixes made by Avant Garde, Tiko's Groove and anothers big producers, was the begginin' of success in electronic music scene.

Full of brasility and energy, on stage Mendonça shows his versatility playing berimbau (tipical musical instrument) with performances of capoeira (a dancin' and fightin' game), and singing the hits "Magalenha", "Saudade do Brasil", "Tatiana", "Berimbal", etc.

All this with strongs electronic bases played alive by the great brazilian DJ and producer Beto Dias.
