Joe Kaplan was born on May 22nd 1982. His DJ carrer begins at 16 years old, as resident in diferent clubs around São Paulo, and now is one of the hottest Electro House producers in Brazil.

His first release "Salvador / Porto Seguro", out in early 2004 on Congos Records, property of the well-known Antoine Clamaran, made his debut in the house market. Both tracks reaches the international charts and gained vast support. The peak time "Salvador", and the massive percussion of "Porto Seguro" were inspired by Brazilian and Latin influences. The tracks were licenced in France, Spain, Canada and México. "Salvador" now gets an updated version by Tikos Groove, out on Bang Records (Italy).

The second single "Batukada / Sambatukada" follows the same formula. In 2006, Joe K sets up his new studio at Building Records and finishes the upcoming single "I Wish". The track became one of the biggests hits of the year in Brazil, reaching the #3 position in the DJ Sound Magazine chart. It was released on 9 compilations and being played on radio and tv shows all over the country.

In 2007, his remix of the classic "Born Slippy" brings Joe to a higher level. It is supported by DJs as Erick Morillo, Bob Sinclar, David Guetta, Paul Van Dyk and Steve Angello. The track is released on "Clubbers Guide to Brazil 2007 - mixed by DJ Joe K. - Ministry of Sound / Building Records Brazil". His records was on top number 3 position at beatport.and he released his record in 25 differents territories around the world.
